Diabetes Dieting Tips: 7 healthy diet plans that won’t break the bank

Your body can’t properly use or make insulin, if you have diabetes. This leads to increase in blood sugar, or glucose levels in your blood. The one thing that helps you to keep your blood sugar in normal range is healthy eating. It is a difficult part of managing diabetes. The reason being controlling blood sugar levels can prevent the diabetes complications. A dietitian helps you to make an eating plan for you. The parameters like your age, medicines, lifestyle, weight and other health problems of you can also be taken into account. Now a days diabetes is on rise. Almost of the diabetic cases are preventable some cases can even  be reversed. For diabetic patients eating right food is important. You need not to give up sweets permanently. With the following steps you can enjoy your favorite food.

1.Choose high fiber : Carbohydrates have a great impact on sugar levels  of blood. The affect of carbohydrates on blood sugar levels is more than that of proteins and fats. You do not have to avoid them completely rather you just be smart about what you eat and what it contains. Instead of just carbohydrates focus more on high fiber carbohydrates also called slow release carbs. They may take more time to get digested , hence it prevents your body from generating too much insulin. Steel cut oats, whole grain bread, whole wheat, brown rice are rich sources of high fiber

2.Choose non starchy : Always diabetes patients have to choose non starchy beans, fruits, and vegetables such as pears, berries, apples, and peaches. Moreover tropical fruits like mangoes, papayas, and bananas tend to have low sugar levels in blood than desserts.

3.Limit white potatoes : Try to limit products that contain refined grain like white pasta and white bread to small snack side dishes.

4.Limit sweets : Limit concentrated sweets that may include high caloric foods such as ice creams to occasional sweets. Maintain an aim to have fruit juice not more than a cup daily. Eliminate sugar sweetened drinks from your list of items.

5.Eat helpful protein : Prefer eating helpful type of  proteins in your meals, like fish, skinless chicken, or beans.

6.Avoid unhealthy fats, prefer healthy fats : Prefer food with healthy fats, like nuts (pecans, walnuts, almonds), avocados, and olive oil. Say no to saturated fats from other animal products.

7.Daily have 3 meals and 1 or 2 snacks. Never skip your breakfast.

They are hypoglycaemia (low sugar level) and hyperglycemia (high sugar level). With diabetes, people may come across with medical emergency. In the medical emergency people may short of money.     All forms of diabetes have been treatable since insulin became available in 1921, and type 2 diabetes may be controlled with medications. Insulin and some oral medications can cause hypoglycemia (low blood sugars), which can be dangerous if severe. Both types 1 and 2 are chronic conditions that cannot be cured. Pancreas transplants have been tried with limited success in type 1 DM; gastric bypass surgery has been successful in many with morbid obesity and type 2 DM. Gestational diabetes usually resolves after delivery.-:
